How Shipping Calculator Works

Our shipping calculator (on every product page) helps you pick the right shipping method for your event. Enter your needed-by date and we'll show you which options will arrive in time.

Where to find it

The shipping calculator is built into every product page. Look for it near the shipping options or on the cart page, typically labeled something like "Need it by a specific date?"

What it does

When you enter your needed-by date, the calculator will:

  • Show your estimated delivery window based on your zip code and the time of day you're ordering
  • Flag if your selected shipping method may not arrive in time — you'll see a warning message
  • Recommend faster options (Two-Day Shipping, One-Day Shipping, Rush Production) if needed

What the warning messages mean

  • Green / "Should arrive on time": Your chosen method should deliver before your needed-by date. You're good!
  • Yellow / "Cutting it close": Delivery is possible but not guaranteed. Consider upgrading to be safe.
  • Red / "May not arrive in time": Standard Shipping won't make it. You need to upgrade to a faster option or Rush Production.

Why we recommend trusting the calculator

We're unable to issue refunds for late delivery when:

  • The calculator confirmed your chosen method would arrive in time, or
  • The calculator recommended an upgrade and you declined it

Basically, the calculator is our commitment to you about delivery. If you use it and choose accordingly, you've got clear expectations.

Pro tips

  • Always enter your needed-by date before choosing a shipping method — it helps you pick the right option
  • If your event is on a Saturday or Sunday, plan for your package to arrive by Friday — expedited shipping doesn't deliver on weekends
  • When in doubt, upgrade. It's always cheaper than re-ordering or dealing with a missed event.
