Tattoos Don't Look as Expected
Every Inkbond tattoo is printed exactly as shown in the proof you approved at checkout. If the print matches the proof, we can offer up to 25% store credit as a goodwill gesture. If there's a true production defect, we'll refund or replace it in full.
First, check your approved proof
When you place an order, the preview image in your cart is your final proof — it's exactly what will be printed. Pull up your order confirmation email or Shopify account to compare the finished tattoo to your proof.
If the tattoo matches your proof but you're not loving it
We understand the final printed result doesn't always look exactly how you imagined it in your head. Because every order is custom-made specifically for you, we can't offer cash refunds or free replacements for subjective dissatisfaction.
What we can offer is up to 25% store credit as a goodwill gesture. Reach out to support@ink-bond.com with your order number and we'll take care of it.
If the tattoo doesn't match your proof — or has a defect
That's on us. We'll offer a full refund or free replacement (your choice) when:
- The print has a production defect (wrong artwork, mis-cut, peeling laminate, poor adhesion)
- The print quality doesn't match your approved proof
- The tattoo arrived damaged and unusable
Email support@ink-bond.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos, and we'll make it right.
Tips for a better result next time
- Upload high-quality photos for custom designs (see: My Photo Quality is Bad)
- Fill the design space in the editor so your tattoo prints at full size (see: Why is My Tattoo Small?)
- Review your proof carefully in the cart before submitting your order
- Consider skin tone — darker skin may show lighter designs differently
