My Photo Quality is Bad
If you're uploading a custom photo, uploading a high-quality portrait image with good lighting is the single most important thing you can do for great print results.
What to avoid
- Blurry images — any blurriness will show up in the print
- Bad lighting — dark, shadowed, or uneven lighting
- People far in the distance — close-ups print best
- Too many people — stick to 1–2 people maximum per photo
What to do
- Choose the highest-quality photo you have
- Make sure faces are well-lit and close to the camera
- Avoid obstructed faces, hats, or sunglasses if you want clear facial features
How we handle low-quality uploads
All tattoos are printed exactly as seen in your preview, so please double-check your proof in the cart before submitting. We aren't liable for poor print quality due to low-resolution photos uploaded by the customer.
In some cases, our quality check team may reach out to request a better photo — but this isn't guaranteed, so please choose your best photo upfront.
